Key Responsibilities
What Will You Do as a Customer Service Associate?
As an Amazon Customer Service Associate, your primary responsibility is to address customer queries and ensure their satisfaction. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling their requests through phone, chat, and email. This includes resolving questions about orders, products, payments, and navigating the website. You’ll utilize various tools to research and provide accurate solutions, ensuring effective communication with customers.
Working Hours
What Are Your Hours?
This role requires flexibility to work variable hours that align with customer needs. You may work overnight, daytime, or late shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week (e.g., 4×10-hour shifts or 5×8-hour shifts). The operating hours are from 6 am to 11 pm, Sunday to Monday. You might need to work on national holidays. Specific schedules will be provided closer to your start date.
Qualifications
What Qualifications Do We Need from You?
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Legal right to work in India
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and oral)
- Experience with computers
- Availability to work varying shifts from Monday to Sunday within the operating hours of 6 am to 11 pm
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts (early, late, overnight, weekends, and overtime as required)
- A quiet, distraction-free workspace (dedicated office space with a desk and chair)
- Minimum broadband connection of 20MB download speed and 8MB upload speed using a hard-wired Ethernet connection
